Management Consultants and Enterpreneures.
Can a management consultant be really useful to enterpreneures? This is a question which has been put to many management experts by the various persons of different spheres.
Enterprenures are hardcore action oriented personalities who believe in actions and results.They have natural apprehension about the efficiency of management consultants. Some of the widespread beliefs(rather mis beliefs?) in their minds are management consultants are focused on only knowledge and some times they miss the wall. Management Consultants do not have the idea about the risk factors of the implementation of their advises. Some enterpreneures would go yp to extent that management consultants seem to us many a times casual. These are some of the points and questions not exhaustive but suggestve of the concern of Enterpreneures.
Against of this on the other side management students have widespread complaint that they feel or believe that they can definately help enterpreneures or small businessman in many a business situations but most of the enterpreneures do not trust us because they do not understand our concepts because they are not educated! They are adamant and what not!
All thes e arguments and counter arguments are suggestive of failure of communication and understanig of one onatoers role.
